Evening Grief Support Group: Finding Strength, Restoring Hope
Thursdays, March 12 - April 16 ~  6 – 7:30 p.m. at our Pasadena office

Pet Loss
For those grieving the loss of a pet, this group provides an introduction to the grief process, an art activity to honor the beloved pet, and suggestions for healthy coping. 
Sunday, March 8 ~ 1 - 3 p.m. at Dogwood Acres

Widow/Widower Support Group
For those grieving spouse/life partner

  • Invisible String +

    Please come to Severn Library on Saturday, March 14 for a workshop sharing how we're all connected! Children 6 to 12 are invited to join us reading “The Invisible String” and create a fun craft project using ribbons and hearts to symbolize our connections and social supports. Snacks and door prizes will be offered. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Snow date is March 21st. 

  • Writing to Heal +

    Saturday, April 11, 2015 ~ 10 a.m. to Noon

    Join award-winning author, Laura Oliver, MFA to learn how to use writing to benefit the healing process. The goal of this workshop is to empower participants to move forward with new tools to increase wellbeing and optimism. We will learn writing methods that release the past, inspire helpful insights, and uplift us. We will do some writing in the room and leave with a set of prompts and techniques to develop a healing writing practice of our own. Cost is 10.
