Perinatal and Infant Loss Program

“Our decision to carry her to term led us to The Life Center Perinatal Program.  Their ability to comfort us, prepare us for her birth, and provide us with support allowed us to enjoy our pregnancy and make memories with our daughter before she was even born. “  - Hannah’s Mom

When an unborn child is given a life limiting diagnosis, their families face a number of difficult decisions. Chesapeake Life Center offers emotional, spiritual and medical support for families during this difficult time. Our programs are designed to provide support through all aspects of the journey from decision making and planning throughout pregnancy, birth and death. Our Perinatal Support program offers services to help you plan for birth, care for your child, understand your grief and connect with others who have experienced similar losses. Our program is also one of the few which offers home care, if your goal is to take your baby home. The Chesapeake Life Center is here for you.

We also offer professional counseling to individuals, couples or families who have experienced the traumatic loss of an infant, to facilitate healing through their grief journey.
