Chesapeake Life Center is a program service of Hospice of the Chesapeake, a registered nonprofit agency and community leader, providing grief care, support and education to this community. It is through philanthropic partnerships and the dedication of our wonderful volunteers that it is possible for us to offer many of the services we provide to grieving families and the community.
Our hospice families receive routine follow up through the mail and may attend grief counseling and support groups at no charge for up to 13 months after the death of their loved one. Community members may utilize a sliding scale for counseling services. In addition, we offer a variety of support programs, including suicide loss and perinatal counseling to all members of the community. In addition, we also partner with a sister hospice in Sub-Saharan Africa, Brits Hartbeesport Hospice.
By partnering with us, you can make a difference. To learn more about volunteering or our philanthropic opportunities, please contact us at 888.501.7077.
